Corrosion resistant, all-weather construction - can be installed in almost any operating environment; unique probe design - provides accurate and stable measurement of pH value in high-purity water; electronic shielded glass electrode - prevents electrostatic noise interference; sensor includes rotameter and needle valve - ensures accuracy            Performance and Application            Rosemount analytical instrument company 320 HP high purity water pH sensor is specially designed for the detection of pH value in aqueous solutions containing very low solubility solids, or aqueous solutions with little conductive ions (conductivity less than 50uS / cm). The sensor includes: stainless steel flow cell, glass electrode, double liquid reference electrode and special structure salt bridge, temperature compensation element, rotameter, needle valve and all-weather junction box, in which preamplifier can be placed. All of these components are placed on an ABS panel that can be mounted on a wall or attached to a 2-inch spool (option).            The resistance value of high-purity water is very high, usually 1 megaohm or higher. When such solution flows through the surface of insulating material (such as plastic), it will produce quite large static electricity. For this static electricity, it is necessary to provide a good grounding to fully discharge, otherwise, static electricity is easily absorbed and superimposed by pH sensor, which will interfere with the measurement of high impedance pH electrode. The well grounded metal flow cell designed in the sensor surrounds the pH electrode, which provides an effective discharge path to the ground for the generated static electricity. Moreover, it can also act as an electronic barrier to block the interference from the external AC power supply, welding equipment and other similar electronic equipment.            The precise measurement of pH value in high-purity water depends on whether the potential in the reference electrode is constant. The unique design of the reference electrode in the 320hp sensor meets this requirement. When the high-purity water flows through the sensor surface, the potential fluctuation caused by the change of water velocity can be minimized by the double liquid reference electrode and the special structure salt bridge. The flow meter and needle valve help to maintain a low and constant sampling flow rate and keep the potential in the reference electrode constant.            Ordering Information            320hp circulating high-purity water (conductivity less than 50uS / cm) pH sensor includes: 316 stainless steel flow cell, double liquid reference electrode, special structure salt bridge, glass electrode, temperature compensation element and all-weather junction box, in which preamplifier can be placed. The input end of the flow cell is also equipped with rotameter and needle valve, which are used to monitor and control the sampling flow. All components are mounted on an ABS panel that is suitable for wall mounting or can be attached to a 2-inch spool (option). 320hp flow through high purity water pH sensor can be used with most Rosemount pH transmitters / analyzers.
